Apple Mac Air with M1 - Enough to develop?

I love to travel light - at least, when travelling is allowed - and the Mac Air has always been a great machine to carry around. Until I needed to have some Windows programs at hand. Then I shifted mainly to my Dell XPS 13, which came with a huge (fast) SSD and 32 GB of RAM. When you cut videos AND run MariaDB in the WSL (Linux subsystem), these 32 GB were really needed. On the other hand, I still fancy my MacBook Pro 15 when it comes to app development.

Maybe I will just continue to mix Windows and Mac as I did for the last 2 years and just get the new Air when we can travel again.
